This Privacy Policy describes how Nestify Labs Inc. ("Nestify," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information in connection with the products and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information depending on how you interact with the Services.

Information You Provide to Us

Personal information you provide to us may include your name, email address, profile information, household and family information, calendar events, tasks, lists, routines, recipes, notes, photos, documents, and other content that you choose to create, upload, import, or otherwise make available through the Services.

If you provide information about another person, such as a member of your household, you are responsible for having the appropriate authority or permission to provide that information.

When you communicate with us, we may also collect the content of those communications and related contact information.

Information You Provide Through Voice and AI Features

When you use voice or AI features, we may process what you say or type, the resulting transcription, relevant context needed to respond to your request, the response generated by the Services, and any actions taken on your behalf.

Raw voice audio may be temporarily processed in order to understand and respond to your request. Nestify does not retain raw voice recordings after processing. The resulting transcription or other interaction content may be retained where needed to provide and improve the Services.

Certain Nestify devices may offer optional speaker-recognition features. Where a voiceprint is created, the voiceprint template is processed and stored locally on the device. Voiceprint templates are not uploaded to Nestify or shared with third parties.

Information From Connected Services

If you choose to connect Nestify with a third-party service, such as a calendar or other supported integration, we may receive information necessary to provide the feature you requested.

The information we receive depends on the service you choose to connect and the permissions you grant. You may disconnect supported integrations through the Services.

Information Collected Automatically

We and our service providers may automatically collect certain information when you use the Services, such as device type, operating system, IP address, app or software version, identifiers, usage information, crash reports, diagnostics, and information about how you interact with features of the Services.

We may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies where applicable to operate the Services, understand usage, measure performance, and support analytics and marketing activities.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use personal information to provide, operate, maintain, and support the Services. This includes authenticating users, maintaining household information, processing requests, providing calendar and organization features, generating AI responses, delivering reminders and notifications, providing customer support, securing the Services, and personalizing your experience.

Research and Development

We may use personal information for research and development purposes, including to test, evaluate, analyze, develop, debug, and improve Nestify and the features and technologies that support the Services.

Where appropriate, we may use aggregated, de-identified, or otherwise limited information for these purposes.

Nestify does not retain raw voice recordings for product improvement after they have been processed.

Artificial Intelligence

We use artificial intelligence and automated technologies to provide certain features of the Services.

Information needed to complete a request may be processed by third-party AI or speech providers acting on our behalf.

We do not permit our third-party AI or speech providers to use what you say or type to Nestify to train their generalized AI models.

This restriction relates to model training. The technical retention practices of individual providers may vary depending on the service and configuration used.

Analytics and Service Improvement

We may use information about how the Services are used to understand usage patterns, improve functionality and reliability, troubleshoot issues, develop new features, and measure the effectiveness of our products and communications.

Safety, Security, and Legal Compliance

We may use personal information to protect the security and integrity of the Services, prevent fraud or misuse, enforce our agreements, comply with applicable laws and legal processes, and protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of Nestify, our users, or others.

How We Share Personal Information

We may share personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to help us operate the Services, including providers of cloud infrastructure, authentication, artificial intelligence, speech processing, analytics, diagnostics, communications, subscriptions, and other technical services.

These providers may receive personal information as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are subject to contractual or other restrictions governing their use of that information.

Services You Choose to Connect

If you choose to connect Nestify to another service or ask Nestify to interact with a third party on your behalf, we may share information as necessary to provide the feature or complete the request you selected.

Other Members of Your Household

Nestify is designed to help households share information. Information placed into shared household spaces may be visible to other members of that household.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose personal information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests or legal process, investigate fraud or security incidents, protect the safety of any person, or protect our rights or property.

Business Transactions

We may disclose or transfer personal information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, provide and improve the Services, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which it is processed, and applicable legal requirements.

When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes and we are not legally required to retain it, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

Nestify does not retain raw voice recordings after processing.

Voiceprint templates, where enabled, remain stored locally on the device rather than in Nestify's cloud and are removed in accordance with the applicable device and feature controls.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We use encrypted connections when transmitting information to and from the Services, and our cloud infrastructure provides encryption for data stored within our systems. Access to personal information is limited to personnel and service providers who have a legitimate need to access it.

We regularly review our security practices as the Services evolve.

However, no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information electronically is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, and the right to object to or limit certain processing.

You may also be able to manage certain information and permissions directly through the Services or through your device settings, including microphone access, notifications, and connected services.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not designed or intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. As such, we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action. If we have actual knowledge that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances where parental consent is required by applicable law, we will take the steps required by law, which may include obtaining parental consent or deleting the information.

Nestify is based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers of personal information, we will use appropriate safeguards as required by law.

The Services may contain links to or integrate with websites, applications, or services operated by third parties.
