Meet Nestie: How It Fits Into Nestify Family Life

Nestie is part of Nestify’s family copilot experience. You’ll meet the name on our homepage, alongside the Nestify app and Family Hub. If you arrived here after searching for “Hey Nestie” or “Hi Nestie,” this introduction explains how the names fit together and where you can start.

Our mission is making every family a better place to grow up in. For this introduction, we suggest starting small: one plan the people involved can understand, accept, and change together. There is no need to reorganize the whole household before deciding whether something is useful.

Who is Nestie, and how does it fit with Nestify?

Nestify is the name to look for in the app stores. Our App Store listing identifies Nestify Labs Inc. as the developer; its version history introduces Nestie as a blue jay within the app experience. That connects the character’s name with the product you can look up.

Think about what you want to understand first. Perhaps someone mentioned Nestie and you want to find the app. Perhaps you saw a household screen and want to know more about that device. Those are different starting questions, and either is a reasonable place to begin.

We also invite you to bring a question from your own family. Imagine a Friday afternoon when two adults each think the other has agreed to collect a child from practice. Before choosing any new tool, the family could ask: where should the agreed plan live, and who will keep it current?

That question gives you something concrete to investigate. A product description can introduce an idea; your household still gets to decide what deserves a place in its day. Keep the arrangement that already works, and be specific about what you want to make clearer.

Choose the app or check the Family Hub’s current status

For the Android app, the official Google Play listing names Nestify - Family Organizer and provides an installation entry point. The developer describes calendars, lists, tasks, recipes, and meals. Use the relevant store listing to check current information for your device.

For the shared screen, visit the Nestify Family Hub page. When checked on September 22, 2026, it presented Nestie built in and invited visitors to join a waitlist. Check that page for current device availability and next steps; use the store listings for app details.

You can explore those destinations at your own pace. Before moving information or inviting everyone to try something, choose one ordinary situation you want to understand better. Ask the people involved how they would prefer to find the plan: on a phone, in a shared place at home, or through an arrangement they already use.

There may be more than one answer. One adult might check the evening before; another might need to confirm a change during the day. Write those needs down before comparing options. If you cannot yet describe the problem, you can leave the decision open. Reading about Nestie does not need to become another household project.

Try one pickup agreement, then decide together whether it helped

Here is an optional exercise we suggest for one upcoming pickup. You can try it with a calendar, a written note, or another place everyone involved can access.

Ask the adults involved to agree on four details:

  • Time and place: When does pickup happen, and where will the adult meet the child?
  • Responsibility: Which adult has actually agreed to do it?
  • Changes: Who will check whether the activity’s time or location has changed?
  • Communication: How will the others hear about a change, and how will they acknowledge it?

For example, the agreement might say that Alex will collect Sam after Friday practice, while Jordan will check the activity notice and contact Alex if the time changes. Before saving the plan, both adults confirm that this matches what they agreed. Adapt the agreement to the people and arrangements in your household.

Leave room for a child’s perspective without handing over adult responsibility. The AAP’s family-meeting guidance for school-age families recommends giving everyone a chance to contribute, recording agreements, and inviting feedback. Parents retain responsibility for difficult decisions.

You might ask a child what they would like to know before practice ends. Let them answer before offering your preferred solution. For young children, UNICEF’s communication guidance recommends attentive listening and reflecting their meaning back in your own words.

After the pickup, return to the agreement briefly. Could the responsible adult find it? Did someone besides the usual organizer help maintain it? Was anything confusing or unnecessary? Give each person room to describe what happened, including an answer you did not expect.

Then choose what to keep, simplify, or stop. Perhaps the location needed clarification. Perhaps another reminder added noise. Perhaps the existing arrangement was already enough. Use what you hear to choose one small adjustment for next time.

If your next question is where family plans should live, use our calendar app, wall display and paper worksheet to compare the options around your real week.

When you are ready, explore Nestify or the Family Hub information page. Bring the people who will live with the plan into the choice. Their answers can guide what you try next.
